Chandler Place Hosts Chili Fundraiser for St. Anthony Fire Department Relief Association

St. Anthony, Minn. (November 14, 2024)Chandler Place, a senior living community located in St. Anthony, Minn., and managed by The Goodman Group, hosted a chili fundraiser and raffle event on October 17. The public was invited to vote on chili samples made by the St. Anthony Fire Department, St. Anthony Police Department, and Chandler Place culinary team members, who surprised attendees as mystery guests. VIP swag, refreshments, and raffle drawings were enjoyed by all.

A total of $1,762 was raised during the event to benefit the St. Anthony Fire Department Relief Association. Michael Culhane from the St. Anthony Fire Department was voted to be the winner of the chili cook-off, with Keith Kazel from Chandler Place and Jon Schlingman from the St. Anthony Police Department being awarded second and third place, respectively.

“We were so grateful for the opportunity to bring together our community for a chili cook-off in support of our local heroes at the St. Anthony Fire Department Relief Association,” said Executive Director Jodi Saeko. “It was a delicious evening filled with friendly competition, fun raffle prizes, and the chance to savor some incredible chili—all for a great cause.”

Raffle prizes included tickets to a Vikings game, a Saints game, and a Chanhassen Dinner Theatre show, as well as gift cards to local establishments Village Pub, Pletcher’s Floral, and Hidden Treasures, among others.
