ST. ANTHONY, Minn. (August 14, 2015) – Chandler Place and St. Anthony Health Center, premier senior living communities located on the same campus, will hold an Open House featuring their innovative health and wellness programs and services. The event will take place on Thurs., August 20 from 4-7:00 p.m. Chandler Place is located at 3701 Chandler Drive, and St. Anthony Health Center is at 3700 Foss Road.
The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an introduction from St. Anthony Village Mayor Jerry Faust, as well as Mike Gaulke, Campus Spiritual Director; William Huseonica, Chandler Place Executive Director, and Mary Yaeger, St. Anthony Senior Living Campus Director. The Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church children’s summer group, comprised of 15 children and youth, will perform select songs from their 2015 musical, “Life of the Party.” The Chandler Place Choir will also perform. RSVP’s are not required.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about many of the innovative programs and services at the campus, provided by senior living industry leader and management company, The Goodman Group. The company has managed St. Anthony Health Center for 48 years and Chandler Place for 29 years.

New Therapy Gym

Food for Life is a trendsetting, plant-based dining program that emphasizes locally grown and organic whole foods. Residents can now enjoy Food for Life at Chandler Place’s restaurant style dining room, The Fountains. Unlike at other senior living communities, residents can choose from a variety of options off a menu.
FIT Functional Fitness is designed to go beyond typical senior fitness programs to help improve residents’ core strength, balance, and cardiovascular health to promote overall wellbeing.
St. Anthony Health Center’s state-of-the-art therapy gym is designed to incorporate the elements of The Goodman Group’s Soulful Environments. The gym’s beautiful water feature, maximizes the use of natural light, soft colors and smooth corners to promote harmony, mindfulness, peace, and healing.
Attendees can also learn about Pearls of Life, a comprehensive memory care program, combining research, education and training into the three pearls of home, health and enrichment. Additionally, Valiant Veterans is a Life Enrichment program open to anyone who has served in the U.S. military, as well as their spouses, family members and friends.
